Photography

A selection of photographs created with a wide range of cameras.

My first solo exhibition Light Proofs is displayed in a separate menu.

DSLRs, compact digital cameras and iPhones, 35mm & 120 film cameras and pinhole cameras using different films and photographic papers were all employed at different times and in different settings.

My thanks goes to those who have lent or donated different cameras, including: Rose Bullock, Fiona Elliott, Max Elliott, Paul Shelvington, and Robert Wells.

The darkroom tools in Adobe Photoshop are used for image sizing and resolution, cropping and colour and contrast balancing. Some home developed images have also been cleaned up by removing marks created by dust or scratches.

The work ranges from Photograms created entirely in the darkroom to collections based around a particular theme such as Workplaces or pictures made by illumination in Ultra violet light.
